About us

We are delighted to welcome you to our website. We run our hotel as a family business - and have done so for 4 generations.

The well-being of our guests is important to us, and every family member contributes to this in their own way. Tradition and friendliness remain our focus to this day.

The “Edelweiss” was built around 1850 and is very centrally located, so that you can easily reach all the shops, the Natural History and Mammoth Museum and the train station on foot. We are happy to offer you a pick-up service if you arrive by train...

We have been running our house as a Hotel Garni since October 2022. We offer our guests a stay in comfortably furnished rooms with a breakfast buffet. Our restaurant is closed.

Welcome!

We have newly created the lounge in the "Edelweiss" for our bed and breakfast business. Equipped with seating, cable TV, guest kitchen with fridge and freezer, etc., you can prepare and eat your own "snack" here at any time - even under our shady chestnut trees.

We booked the hotel as a stopover on the way to Croatia. We were able to get a room very spontaneously and it is also possible to arrive late without any problems. There are enough parking spaces and there is also a larger public car park where we were able to park the trailer without any problems. We will therefore use it again on the way home and get a room there spontaneously too. Thank you

We were travelling by bike and spent one night here. The service from the manager and the other staff was always friendly and courteous. The rooms are very spacious and very clean.

We were passing through on our way back from vacation in Italy and came across the hotel by chance. Nice rooms, good location, parking spaces in front of the door. Excellent and friendly, courteous service, you immediately feel like a welcome guest, thanks again for that. The breakfast is good and sufficient, the dining room is cozy. And the lack of a restaurant is definitely worth it given the options in town. We'll be back.
